How complicated is it to create one of these videos?

For you, it is as simple as you want it to be. We can create a basic slide-show video, in which case all you have to do is get your pictures together and let us know which ones are the most important, and what order to to show them in. We’ll do the rest, including adding music to the video.

If you want to take your video to the next step, we can record your voice narration as you watch the video when we review it with you. And for highest quality video, we can videotape an interview of you going through your pictures and create a breathtaking visual record of your most cherished memories.

Where do you create these videos?

For a straightforward slide show, or a video with audio narration, we meet with you in your home. For a video interview, we can do it either at your home, or at our location in Laguna Woods Village.

What’s the process for creating a video?

First, we meet with you in your home to help you decide what sort of video you would like to make, and we go over the pictures that you would like to include and the music you would like to use. Next, we will copy your pictures (in your home, so they never leave your possession) and use the copies to create a basic video track. When the video is complete (in ‘rough cut’ form), we will bring it back to you for review.

At the review meeting, we will record the audio or video interview. Following the meeting, we will edit the interview recording into the basic video track and bring the ‘final cut’ back to you.

How much will the video cost me?

That’s up to you. We strive to work with you and your budget constraints

Our prices start at $500 for a simple, up to ten-minute slide show with music, for up to 50 pictures. We can add more pictures at an additional cost.

We can add an audio narration to the slide show for $200, or we can add a video interview for $400. The actual price will depend on your needs and budget.
